Abstract:

Background: Corona Virus Disease-۱۹ is a catastrophic health risk, with psychological, emotional, social, and sexual implications especially for vulnerable people such as adolescent. The aim of this study was to asses the health needs and anexiety of adolescent in iran during covid-۱۹ pandemic .Method: this was a cross-sectional correlational study. ۱۳۰۰ male adolescents aged between ۱۳ and ۱۹ years old filled out the questionnaire of MANHAS and CDAS from January to may ۲۰۲۱. Random multi stage sampling method was used. Data were analyzed by SPSS versin ۲۲.Finding: The mean age of adolescents was۱۵.۵±۲.۲۵ and most of them(۶۵%) were studing in high school. The mean scores were of physica health need ۷۸±۷.۵۵, psychological health need ۴۸.۸±۵.۵۵, social health need۴۸.۲۱±۸.۶۱, sexual health need ۵۰.۳۵ ±۹.۰۵ and anexiaty score were shown sevier (۴۶.۷۶) in this study. There were a significant negative relation ship beetwen anexiety and health needs.Conclousion: Covid-۱۹ pandemic greatly affected health needs of adolescents. Effective approach and policies in this crisis (directly involving adolescents) can mitigate the anxious reactions of adolescents, and may help them to handle their health needs appropriately.
