Claims Management Analysis in Iran's Industrial Construction Sector

For several years, the construction industry in Iran has developed a lot. The cities of this country have become more modernized and people are also interested in or they have to live in apartment buildings and it causes the increment of construction projects demand. But sometimes the claims or disputes prevent completing the construction project. In this article, we try to explain the reasons and the abundance of claims and construction problems in this country. According to research from contracting and consulting companies based on five main questions, including the probability of creating claims or differences in construction projects, the main causes of differences, methods of dispute resolution, the ways used to change in orders and financial limits claimed by the contractors and by analyzing these data, the main factors in becoming disputes are identified and the manner of reducing these disputes is offered.
