Abstract:

Feeling pain is a common symptom among patients with neurological issues. Stroke is one of the most important neurological issue among individuals in developing countries. Occurrence of spasticity could be considered as a reason for decreasing the level of balance and feeling of pain. stroke is considered as one of the most important causes of mortality in the world. This short review is trying to explore the latest recent published paper with focus on pain and lower limb dysfunction in patients post stroke. Based on the review of those papers, it was shown that spasticity is a main reason for lower limb dysfunction and balance problem; in addition, it could be lead to physical pain. Different methods of rehabilitation such as electrical stimulation, and hydrotherapy are suggested.
