Abstract:

Global warming leads to increasing attention to the use of transportation system based for clean energy. Considering this issue and the goals of sustainable development, we can conclude that reaching these goals seems a little difficult. In this article, an attempt has been made to present the design and practical implementation aspects of a modern level two electric vehicle charging station using solar energy, which is controlled by level one vehicle connector. The designed model is developed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment and the working circuit is checked and its methodological model is extracted to study the parametric design characteristics. In addition, a complete hardware setup has been developed to test the performance of power factor correction under steady-state conditions with respect to changes in load. A ۶.۴ kW solar photovoltaic charging station was selected as a case location. In addition, the controller circuit was simulated in PROTEUS software and a preliminary experimental model was tested in the laboratory. This research is conducted on a ۱۰ kWh lithium-ion battery pack on a bright sunny day under standard solar panel test conditions.
