Abstract:
Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, the fourth king of the Qajar dynasty, is one of the kingswho, in addition to politics and governance, dealt with things such as art, tourism, and various entertainments. In addition to the manner and type of his governance, which has been examined many times from different angles, the type of hisentertainments are also among the interesting and significant issues and it isobvious that it should be addressed. Naseruddin Shah was very interested invarious entertainments and spent most of his time on it. The Nasser period was thesource of extensive developments, both internally and externally, including theexpansion of diplomatic relations with foreign countries, as well as the occurrenceof some important developments such as the expansion of urbanization, transportation and communications. The importance of these issues is that thechanges that took place in some non-political behaviors of the Shah, such as hisentertainment, were effective. If traveling to foreign countries, which was in linewith the country's policy and of course his desire to have fun and learn about thesituation of foreign countries, it was also partly rooted in the changes that tookplace. This research, using library resources and using the descriptive-analyticalmethod, seeks to investigate the entertainments of the Nasrid era (with anemphasis on music).
