Abstract:

The general purpose of this research was to predict school satisfaction based on academic resilience, academic self-efficacy and student achievement goals. The method of the present research was quantitative in terms of the applied purpose, in terms of the type of data and correlational in terms of the nature of the study. The statistical population includes all ۱۰th grade male students of the ۲nd high school in the ۱st education region of Tehran, which included ۲۰۰۰ people. The samples were obtained using Cochran's formula, equivalent to ۳۷۷ people. Measurement tools include the School Satisfaction Scale (MSLSS) by Scott Huebner (۱۹۹۱), Samuels' Academic Resilience Questionnaire (۲۰۰۴), Jerry Jing and Morgan's (۲۰۰۰) Academic Self-Efficacy Questionnaire, and Midgley et al.'s (۱۹۹۸) Achievement Goals Questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics as well as inferential statistics including Pearson's correlation and multiple regression. Based on the findings of the present research, academic resilience, academic self-efficacy, mastery goals and performance goals have the ability to predict school satisfaction.
