Abstract:
The main goal of this research is to review the concepts of UHPC concrete and confinement. For this purpose, after the introduction, UHPC concrete will be investigated. After that, the studies done by the past researchers are evaluated. Based on the research of previous researchers regarding the behavior of confined UHPC concrete, UHPC concrete enclosed with FRP performs better than the same sample without FRP. also, ductility and energy absorption of the samples increases with the increase of concrete confinement. Moreover in samples enclosed with FRP, sudden failure occurs after reaching the ultimate strength.
