The COVID-۱۹ Pandemic: Investigating impacts on Cities, Urban Planning and Design

The urban is a living system that has been tried to provide physical and mental health, but some crises threaten the city and human health. In this article, understanding the effect of the pandemic on the cities will be proceeded, However, the question is, what actions will control the outbreak of this universal epidemic. Results show that city foundations are divided into four topics meaning; ۱)social-cultural-economic factors, ۲)environment, ۳)city management, and ۴)transportation. urban environment will change in the future; on the other side, a compacted population will cause an unhygienic situation, and the spread of illness and factors like light, weather, and nature are significant as well. The needed indexes for a health-oriented urban environment are processed according to basic actions about controlling and confronting by considering the experiences of other countries, finally, presenting the proper approaches to protective designing the social life in pandemic diseases like Covid-۱۹.
