Abstract:

Obesity is one of the most common metabolic disorders in industrialized and developing countries. Among the pathological consequences of obesity, we can mention cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndrome. Nowadays, the simultaneous use of sports exercises and consumption of herbal supplements has become a new method among athletes and inactive people. Therefore, the aim of this research is the effect of pistachio extract. on adiponectin, lipocalin-۲, resistin, vaspin and lipid profile after ۶ weeks of aerobic activity in overweight men of Tehran. ۳۰ inactive men of Tehran city from the statistical population of ۴۸ people were randomly divided into ۳ aerobic exercise groups, ۲: Bene supplement + aerobic exercise and ۳: control. ۴۵ minutes before the start of the activity, the participants consumed one gram of placebo in the placebo group + aerobic exercise and one gram of rhizome extract in the exercise group + rhizome extract. The results showed that the serum levels of adiponectin, lipocalin-۲, LDL, HDL, vaspin and free fatty acid had significant changes(p<۰.۰۵( . However, there were no significant changes in resistin, cholesterol and triglyceride levels)p>۰.۰۵( .In this research, we came to the conclusion that the simultaneous consumption of pistachio extract with aerobic exercise reduces the symptoms of metabolic syndrome and reduces the complications of obesity.
