Interaction analysis of droughts and floods in Kerman province abstract
This research was carried out to investigate the meteorological, hydrological and agricultural droughts of Jazmurian watershed during a 30-year period (1985-2015) using geostationary and satellite images. In this regard, after fitting the best variogram model to the spatial structure of SPI and SDI data, and evaluating the accuracy of the interpolation methods of mapping their spatial variation map using the best interpolation methods in ARC GIS software 10.4.1 was prepared. The best interpolation method for SPI data in 1985 and 2015 Kriging methods, and for 1995 and 2005 idw with a power of 3 and 2, the SDI inference method for every 4 years is idw of 1 with power. In order to investigate agricultural drought, Landsat satellite images were used. The vegetation cover of the area was extracted using the NDVI index and the area of each suffering was obtained. The results of the drought investigation showed that there is a significant correlation between the SPI and SDI and NDVI indices. In general, the Jazmurian basin during the course of this 30-year period is associated with an increase in the trend of drought. . Also, using the statistical data of the flood date in Jazmourian watershed, 2014/4/5, and then extracted using satellite images of the flood zone. Also, vegetation cover was investigated in the years before and after the occurrence of flood. The results of the research show that the flood flow to the south-east of the basin has decreased dramatically in this area due to the studies carried out, due to floods and droughts There are frequent cases in the region. Based on the results, it was found that the effect of flood on the reduction of the effect of droughts in the region was very small.
