Investigation on oil pollution of soils caused bygas condensate leakage in Asalouyeh

In this study, the concentration of total oil pollution (TPH) remaining in the sediments ofAsaluyeh (Khozi city of Fars province), which was polluted in the fall of ۲۰۲۱ due to gascondensate leakage, was investigated. After the accident, aeration and mixing of soilfrom depth to surface and also due to rain, washing of pollution from surface to deep ofsoils occurred. Five months after performing these operations, the TPH level of the soilwas checked. The results showed that the concentration of soil pollution in the studyarea (۳۵۶.۵ μg/g) was in the lower ranges of the moderate pollution level
