Abstract:

in this research , the teachings of zoroastrianism on the importance and respect of the earth and also the analysis of zoroastrian ritual in the way of burial of zoroastrian dead are discussed and analyzed in order to study the environmental impacts of ancestors in the framework of religious beliefs of this era and by following the existing shortcomings in ancient iran . thus , the environmental impacts of the predecessors in the framework of religious beliefs of that age and by following the extant similarities in ancient iran were studied . mazdyan religion , also known as Zoroastrians , is one of the most ancient religions in the world that its history dates back to the iranian plateau before the migration of iranian tribes from central asia to the iranian plateau . in accordance with the guidelines of this religion , human rights are considered as a part of nature . According to the guidelines of this religion , human is considered as a part of nature . according to the principle , the sanctity of the earth is recommended and its preservation and respect for the zoroastrians is obligatory . one of the important subjects of zoroastrianism is the way of encountering the body of the dead . in zoroastrian religion , the body 's body is the most polluted thing in the material world after death , and since the earth is a sacred element , they must avoid contact with the body . for this reason , in order to prevent the contamination of the sacred element " earth " and placement of corpses in open space , zoroastrianism is recommended . in this way , the bodies are placed on a tall and local named " " silent tower " " and after the soft tissue of the body by the meat - eaters and especially the vulture estuaries are eaten , bony remains in a solution of lime are placed in the silent tower . the architectural design aspect of the tower is well related to the zoroastrian ritual . the philosophy of the existence of such a method as quoted in Vandidad is respect for nature and prevention of contamination of soil and land , which is one of the sacred elements of the zoroastrians .
