Abstract:
Reactive powder concrete (RPC) is a new generation concrete that it was developed through microstructure enhancement techniques for cementitious materials. As compared to conventional cement based materials, the primary improvements of RPC include the particle size homogeneity, porosity, and microstructures In the present study, mix design of RPC of various water to-cementitious materials ratio has been made and practical optimum water has been obtai ned through the highest compressive strength.Then, other mix designs have been made according to previous experienced designs with different content of cement has been performed on specimens. The specimens were all cubes of 100 mm dimension The maximum compressive strength obtaned in the current study was 230 MPa.
