Finding the best Equivalent Electrical Circuit to fit Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy abstract
This paper presents a model for the electrochemical properties of the oxygen reduction reaction using the Bayesian Optimization Structure Search (BOSS) method. Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) is a powerful technique for characterizing electrochemical systems, but it can be time-consuming and costly. To minimize these drawbacks, the BOSS method is employed to find the best equivalent electrical circuit (EEC) that fits the EIS data. Three different EECs are used and the best model is selected through optimization. The results are compared to those obtained using a genetic algorithm, demonstrating the effectiveness of the BOSS method in finding the best EEC model.
