pre-concentration And Determenation Trace of Ag 2+ Ion In Vegetables Irrigated by West water by Cloud Point Extraction abstract
Cloud point extraction has been used for the pre-concentration of Ag2+ , after the formation of a complex with Bis((1H-benzo[d]imidazol-2yl)methyl)sulfane, and later analysis by flame atomic absorption spectrometry using Triton X-114 as surfactant. The adopted concentrations for (BHIS), Triton X-114 and HNO3, bath temperature, centrifuge rate and time were optimized. Detection limits (3Sb/m) of 1.7 along with enrichment factors of 39 for Ag 2+ ion was achieved. The high efficiency of cloud point extraction to carry out the determination of this ion in complex matrices was demonstrated. The proposed procedure was applied to the analysis of natural and waste water, soil and blood samples. The proposed method is characterized by simplicity, efficiency and low cost.
