Abstract:
We provide new findings on the distribution of ۱۳ species of the family Gasteruptiidae (Hymenoptera, Evanioidea) collected at ۱۷ sampling localities in Fars and Hormozgan Provinces, south of Iran. The specimens were collected using Malaise traps during ۲۰۱۳–۲۰۱۹. Two species, Gasteruption sericeipes Kieffer, ۱۹۱۱ and G. syriacum Szépligeti, ۱۹۰۳ are new additions to the Iranian wasp fauna. Furthermore, ۱۰ species are new provincial records. With the present additions, the total number of gasteruptiids recorded from Hormozgan, Fars and Iran is currently raised to ۲, ۱۴ and ۲۹ species, respectively. For each species, provincial distribution in Iran and overall distribution, as well as the flight period, are presented and discussed together with the available references.
