Abstract:
Nowadays, there is a lot of attention to zero energy buildings. zero energy buildings by reducing energy consumption and waste, and producing the energy it needs with clean energy such as solar, wind and geothermal energy, can have a great impact on reducing pollution caused by fossil fuels and also preventing global warming. In this article, an apartment with an area of ۶۰ square meters, which is located in Sydney, Australia, has been studied. in terms of energy consumption, this apartment is in the high-consumption category, and the required electrical reduced when most of it, will be provided by solar panels. The results showed that at least in ۸ months of the year, the production of the panels located above the apartment will exceed the consumption of this unit.
