Abstract:

Lack of knowledge about COVID-۱۹ and increased use of social networks contributed to the spread of misinformation about the disease in society, harming older adults’ health. In this review, we define misinformation and its condition during the COVID-۱۹ pandemic and provide an overview of the characteristics of older adults and the impact of misinformation on this demographic group.
