Associations of the age of menarche with hypertension

objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the association of the age of menarche with HTN in menopausal women referred to Dr. Heshmat Hospital during ۲۰۲۰-۲۰۲۱ in Rasht.Results: A total of ۱۵۰۰ women with a mean age of ۵۰.۳۸-۳.۷۶ years were included in the study. A reverse correlation was observed between the age of menarche and systolic BP (Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, r=۰.۰۸۶, p=۰.۰۰۱). No significant relationship was observed between the age of menarche with the chance of high BP in postmenopausal women. A significant relationship was reported between the age of menarche and systolic BP in postmenopausal women. The level of cholesterol (P
