Investigation of the CO2 Absorption into W/O and O/W Microemulsion with Different Aqueous Phases abstract

In recent years, the removal of carbon dioxide gas has become a global issue due to the importance of this in various industries and global warming caused by greenhouse gases. In this study, microemulsions as absorbents have been studied. The effect of the aqueous phase used in the structure of the synthesized microemulsions was investigated. Also, the effect of additives such as sodium hydroxide and piperazine as an alkaline and promoter element was examined and it was observed that the additives improved carbon dioxide absorption
