Quadruple tank level controller design by human brain emotion based controller abstract

This paper carries out a comprehensive performance analysis of Second Order Sliding Mode Control (SOSMC), which is a robust controller, and Brain Emotional Logic Based Intelligent Controller (BELBIC), which is an intelligent controller, for a MIMO system having non-linear coupled dynamics. The comparison highlights the effectiveness and performance of the two controllers vis-a-vis each other in the presence of disturbance, parameter variation, set-point changes and high coupling effects. The process considered for this comparison is the quadruple tank system, which is a well-known benchmark control problem
