Abstract:
Nano-Zn-[۲-boromophenyl-salicylaldimine-methylpyranopyrazole]Cl۲ nanoparticles (nano-[Zn-۲BSMP]Cl۲) as a Schiff base complex and catalyst was used for the preparation of ۲,۴,۵-tri substituted imidazoles by the one-pot multi-component condensation reaction of benzil with various aromatic aldehydes and ammonium acetate at ۸۰ °C under solvent-free conditions.
