Abstract:

Electrical energy is a very important need for humans. However, along with the development of technology, the use of new renewable energy is increasing, including Solar Power Plants (PLTS). PLTS rely on solar energy as a source of energy. Where solar energy is inexhaustible and abundant. In carrying out the construction of a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) requires good planning so that the PLTS that has been built can operate optimally. In research planning for PLTS development, it will be carried out on the roof of SDN ۰۲۳۹۰۵ Binjai with the On Grid. The PLTS operating system On Grid was chosen because it wanted to reduce the use of electrical energy at SDN ۰۲۳۹۰۵ Binjai. Because the demand for electrical energy at SDN ۰۲۳۹۰۵ Binjai is still fully supplied from PLN. In this plan a PLTS with a capacity of ۱.۲kWp will be installed using ۴ solar panels with a capacity of ۳۰۰Wp for each component and arranged in series and ۱ inverter with a capacity of ۱.۲kW to ۳kW. This plan is said to be feasible to operate and be developed because this plan has been carried out by obtaining a Performance Ratio (PR) value of ۸۴%, and is feasible to implement because it is more than the minimum Performance Ratio of ۷۰%. Based on financial calculations, this plan requires an investment cost of IDR ۳۱,۵۵۵,۲۲۲. Payback occurs in the ۱st year and ۱st month of the ۲۰ year PLTS operating life.
