Abstract:
Introduction: Education and learning are the main element to have a sustainable society. Meanwhile, children have the highest potential to receive effective education. The tourism spaces designed suitable to the child's existential dimensions have the role of a suitable teacher to experience and learn the great lessons of life. Child-friendly spaces seek to provide a suitable platform in tourism environments for entertainment, education, intellectual and social development of these people.Methods: The present research is practical in terms of its purpose. It is quantitative in terms of data type. It is descriptive in terms of how data is collected. It is a survey research in terms of implementation. It is a type of correlation. ۲۶۵ (N=۸۵۰, n=۲۶۵, Krejci and Morgan) Families of Shirabad village in Golestan province in Iran were surveyed using simple sampling method. Research data were collected using a questionnaire ۱۵ items and analyzed by SPSS and LISREL Software.Results: The results showed that motivation to learn has a positive effect on children's environmental protection behaviors. The benefits of learning for children have a positive effect on children's environmental protection behaviors.Discussion: Environmental education to children needs to be planned in order to be effective in adapting their developmental needs, interests, abilities and learning methods in Golestan province.
