Abstract:

Diazinon is an organophosphorus pesticide that is widely used against the stem borer pest in rice fields. After raining, this poison may enter the water resources and poison different aquatic species in these ecosystems. The bream fish (Abramis brama) is one of the valuable fishes in the Northern part of the country, which is likely to be affected by diazinon used in agriculture in the rivers and Caspian Sea. In this study, the sublethal toxicity of diazinon was studied on liver, gill, kidney and intestine tissues of bream fish, fish were exposed to diazinon for ۱۴ days at concentrations of ۰.۰۴, ۰.۳۶, ۰.۷۳, and ۱.۴۶ mg L–۱. Tissue samples were taken after ۱۴ days of exposure to diazinon to study tissue lesions, and these samples were fixed, then using standard histological methods, slides were prepared, and then were stained by H & E method, finally were studied using light microscopy. Evaluation of liver, gill, kidney, and intestine tissues after ۱۴ days showed that by increasing the concentration of toxin, tissue complications are increasing. These results indicate the existence of a direct relationship between the pollution of ecosystems by organ pesticides and histopathological, so of diazinon can affect the liver, gill, kidney and intestine tissues disorders in different tissues of exposed bream fish and reduces the survival of fish.
