Designing a digital transformation maturity model for industrial organization

Today, one of the most important frameworks for understanding and recognizing digital transformatio in all activities is the digital transformation maturity model.Understand in the dimensions and stages of maturity is crucial for decision-makers in industrial organizations especially petrochemical companies and the other Process industries. It enables them to make appropriate mangement decisions by uderstanding their organization's position in the maturity of digital transformation.The main purpose of this study is to present the maturity model of digital transformation for indutrial organizations, determine its dimensions and subdimensions. In this paper, the different models and stages of digital transformation maturity in various scientific databases on the Internet and provide a comprehensive summary of the dimensions and stages of maturity were studied and Experts in this field have been interviewed. The data were analyzed using the Grounded Theory method, leading to the identification of three main dimensions (strategic process and business management, operational process, and supporting process) and ۲۲ sub-dimensions. This model has ۱۰ stages, by scoring these dimensions; industrial organizations can evaluate their position and level of digital transformation maturity and make informed decisions on how to continue their path of digital transformation.
