Abstract:

Abstract:The fuel cell system is an advanced energy generation system for the future that is clean and environmentally sustainable. The importance of the fuel cell as an energy production system is discussed with respect to the reduction of fossil fuel reserves, the adoption of international laws on greenhouse gas control and national renewable energy policies. Fossil fuel resources are limited and will be completed in the next ۷۰ to ۱۵۰ years. By ۲۰۲۰, global energy demand for fossil fuels will outstrip global production, leaving the crisis of energy shortage unless sustainable fuel is available for replacement by that time. Hydrogen and oxygen fuel cells are electrochemically combined and water and electricity are produced as by-products, and this is very favorable from an environmental point of view. One of the most important challenges in advancing fuel cell technology is the production of durable membranes that enable the fuel cell to operate at high temperatures without the need for high humidity. Achieving these membranes is a very important advantage that greatly affects the complexity, cost and efficiency of fuel cell. Carbon nanotubes due to their unique properties such as ۵ times tensile strength of steel, thermal conductivity to other compounds except pure diamonds, very high electrical conductivity, higher flow capacity than copper, very large magnetic moment, good membrane properties. It has. The use of nanotubes also reduces the need for expensive materials such as platinum to catalyze electrodes and membrane stability and increases the lifetime of the cells due to the high corrosion resistance of our high fuel cells.
