Abstract:

it is worth noting that the possibility of using anycontrol method increases the opportunity to reduce losses inelectrical machines and inverters, which leads to a clearincrease in efficiency and reduction of electrical losses.Therefore, it is important in any electrical system, especiallythe electric machines used in electric cars, to choose the idealcontrol method, as field oriented control or vector controltheory is the latest method in electrical control, and it hasattracted and received the attention of researchers andscientists in many industrial fields. In this research, a controlsystem was developed using the field oriented control fieldoriented control method to control electrical machines. Allelectrical losses in the electrical machine were studied andanalyzed (Cupper losses, iron losses resulting from eddycurrents, mechanical losses resulting from friction). The lossesin the inverter were also analyzed and studied, as most of theydid not discuss it, as it plays an important role in the possibilityof increasing or decreasing the efficiency of the system. Finally,the method field oriented control by losses minimizing controlLMC results were simulated, and the results include current,modulation index, switching frequency, and all variables in thedrive system. Furthermore, the maximum efficiency controlstrategy was chosen so that the drive system can operate in themost efficient conditions at all operating points. The drivingefficiency can be improved by reducing the inverter andPMSM losses, as the comparison was made by the proposedmethod and the classical field oriented control method.
