Abstract:
Anticancer cells and antimicrobial activity of new mixed metal [Cu۲(BPA)۲(VOF۵)۲]nComplex (BPA = ۲,۲-Bipyridineamine) at Bulk and Nano-sized have been studied and these newunusually structure complex characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and itsstructures studied by single Crystal X-ray crystallography. Nanopowder of this compoundsynthesized by sonochemical method then characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), ScanningElectron Microscopy (SEM) [۱]. These synthesized CP and NCP (CP = Coordination Polymersand NCP = Nano Coordination Polymers) of fluoride link Copper-Vanadium with ۲,۲-bipyridineamine, as ligand, after being subjected to biological tests, showed anticancer activity [۲]. As ligandBPA is biologically active, the results of biological activity are as expected specifically, an activitywas demonstrated in breast cancer cells (MCF۷ and MDA MB ۲۳۱) and proliferative cells(MCF۷).
