Abstract:
The genus Crataegus L. in Iran is revised. Altogether ۲۲ species and ۵ hybrids are recognized from Iran. Three new species including C. aminii, C. assadii and C. babakhanlouiare described. A key for the species occuring in Iran is presented. Parents of hybrids are indicated and the differences of the hybrids are compared with them.
