Abstract:
The plant family Violaceae in Iran has been revised. A key to the species, nomenclature, selected specimens and necessary notes for the taxa are presented. Altogether ۱۹ species are known from Iran. Viola spathulata var. delirensis is described as new. V. elatior and V. hirta are new records from Iran. V. cinerea var. bornmulleri = V. cinerea and V. makranica = V. behboudiana are new synonymes.
