Abstract:
This paper discusses optimal energy management and distribution in a microgrid considering distributed generation and demand side management. Regarding the impact of the network on optimizing energy distribution, network parameters such as losses and voltage profile have a significant effect on efficiency and cost reduction. Therefore, in energy distribution optimization programs, attention should also be paid to these parameters. In this paper, network parameters such as losses and voltage profile have been considered and different loads that exist in the network such as cooling, heating and lighting loads have been taken into account. The objective of optimal energy management is to minimize production costs and purchase of electricity from the grid. In this paper, with regard to load variations during the day, the amount of energy produced from each source is optimized in each hour so that production costs are minimized and the purchase of electricity from the grid has the least amount.
