Abstract:

The rapid process of heat and gas production, which causes a lot of energy in the direction of gas expansion, is called an explosion. The amount of energy released due to the explosion of explosives is not very high, but its importance lies in the rapid and sudden release of energy. Following the explosion phenomenon, waves will be produced, depending on the environment in which it is propagated, the pressure produced will intensify or decrease, which is caused by the phenomenon of reflection in the propagation of explosive waves. When the explosion occurs, the explosion starts from a low value and reaches the maximum and decreases again, which is similar to the process of explosion inside the explosive. But this shape does not remain constant and because the speed of the wave in the air depends on conditions such as temperature and pressure, that part of the wave that has more pressure and temperature moves with a higher speed and therefore this part with higher pressure is ahead of the other points. The continuation of this process causes the waveform to look like the following at a short distance from the source of the explosion, which is true for any explosion. In this scientific research, the destruction of concrete structure due to the application of blast load will be investigated. For this, we first make a three-dimensional model of the structure and then process the said model with the help of Abaqus analysis and simulation software, which analyzes based on the finite element process. This analysis evaluates solely based on the conversion of explosion energy into compressive load in the desired structure. In order to analyze and investigate the destructive effects of the structure, its actual boundary conditions must be defined and then a regular network of elements must be created for the purpose of meshing and analyzing the structure based on the finite element method. After the simulation, the output contours are evaluated and analyzed like the stresses on the structure
