Abstract:
There are many technological systems in the oil and gas industries. The massive flowof data from new sensor technologies, new analytical methods, complex drillingprocesses, ever-changing requirements for proper reservoir monitoring andmanagement, and other industry issues are driving the need for innovative solutions.Companies must continuously strive to produce oil and manufactured products at lowcost to compete crudely in these industries. Also, in addition to searching for new oiland gas resources, companies should also look to increase their assets On the otherhand, the principles of environmental standards require a more precise control forenergy production in the production process. To solve these problems in the oil andgas industry, it is necessary for companies active in this field to adopt smarterprocesses and systems. In this Internet of Things, which mediates the construction ofdistributed and intelligent systems, it is the cornerstone of the technologies needed inoil and gas, which mediates it to the industry and receives it with delay, by using thisgroup of them. . made smarter and safer operations required by the oil and gasindustry. In this research, the position of the Internet of Things in the world isexamined and the success rate of this concept is applied in the oil and gas industriesand the importance of its application in order to improve the processes required in theoil and gas and petrochemical industries. At the end of this research, suggestions willbe presented to improve the position of Iran's oil and gas industries in the use ofInternet of Things.
