The effect of building information modeling (BIM) toimprove knowledge management abstract
An important part of knowledge is acquired learning, which is the challenging responsibility ofmaintaining, maintaining, sharing, recording, and republishing it is the responsibility of knowledgemanagement. Due to the increasing development of technologies, building information modeling (BIM) canbe a solution to accompany and align with knowledge management. This study aims to get familiar withknowledge management, lessons learned and the effect of the building information modeling (BIM) processto co-exist these factors together for greater productivity of knowledge management. This study has beenprepared based on the literature review and is aimed at improving the performance of knowledgemanagement, which is one of the important and key factors of project and construction management science. The results show that the application of the BIM process and knowledge management and the integration ofthese two topics can have a significant and tangible impact on reducing risks, increasing the speed ofreceiving and improving errors, controlling estimates and schedules, etc., as well as the quality andproductivity of the project. to increase significantly. In other words, the creation of a knowledge managementsystem along with the implementation of effective knowledge management techniques as well as the use ofBIM technology for knowledge management in the organization can lead to the manifestation oforganizational knowledge values and goals
