Abstract:
The solar energy plans and projects carried out in the Universities and research centers in Iran, are briefly described in this paper. The research topics include: An efficiency study of solar collectors, solar water heaters, solar desalina- tion, solar cookers, solar house heating٫cooling systems, solar dehydration, greenhouses, solar water pumping, and solar power production.
