Abstract:

The current research aims to compare the effectiveness of positive psychology and gross emotion regulation on increasing the mental vitality of women housekeeper of Shiraz city was done. The method of the current research is an experiment with a pre-test, post-test design with a control group it was the follow-up stage. The statistical population of the research includes all housewives in Shiraz city in ۲۰۲۳, of which ۱۵ using purposeful sampling method, they were selected randomly in two experimental groups and one control group (each group of ۵ people) were placed and to collect information to Gross Emotional Self-Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) and questionnaire Ryan and Frederik (۱۹۹۷) answered mental vitality as a measurement tool experimental groups under psychological treatment. Martin Seligman's positive attitude (۸ sessions of ۹۰ minutes) and Gross's emotion regulation training (۸ sessions of ۹۰ minutes) were included. And after three months, the follow-up phase was done. Also, the control group remained on the waiting list. Data using statistical test Covariance analysis was performed. The results showed that the positive psychology and self-regulation of Gross increasing the mental vitality of housewives in Shiraz had a significant effect (P<۰.۰۰۱). Also, the results of the analysis showed the effectiveness positive psychology has increased mental vitality of housewives more than emotion regulation training. This research has many experimental, research and practical implications regarding increasing the mental vitality of housewives.
