Abstract:

Autism disorder is one of the neurodevelopmental mental disorders that is characterized by difficult in social communication and the implementation of limited repetitive behaviors. Disorganization in social relationships, relationships, tendencies and behaviors is the main characteristic of this disorder. Also, its Torah tolerance is estimated at ۹۰%. Fear of negative evaluation is a person's concern about being judged by others, and a person avoids situations that have the possibility of negative evaluation .Social anxiety is a response to the fear of negative evaluation. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive behavioral therapy on psychological well-being and fear of negative evaluation in parents with children with autism spectrum disorder. The experimental research method is a semi-experimental type with pre-test and post-test in the control and experimental groups in the form of ABA design. The research community includes all couples with autistic children In Zahedan city who had an autistic child in ۲۰۲۳. The sample of this research includes three couples with autistic children who were selected through purposive sampling. The measurement tools of this research were psychological well-being (۲۰۱۵) questionnaire and fear of negative (۲۰۱۷) evaluation. The data were analyzed using visual analysis and the percentage of non-overlapping data (POD) and the percentage of overlapping data (PND) were used to measure the effect of treatment. The results showed that cognitive behavioral therapy has a positive and significant effect on psychological well-being and fear of negative evaluation in parents with a child with autism spectrum disorder and reducing the symptoms of the child's disorder. Therefore, counselors and psychologists can use this therapeutic approach to increase self-acceptance, purposeful life and personal growth, reduce social anxiety and autonomy of children with autism.
