Abstract:
In order to investigate the effect of retraining attributional styles on job satisfaction, ۳۰ teachers were chosen at a language school and were assigned randomly to an experimental and a control group. The experimental group experienced a seven-session course of retraining attributional styles which was held once a week. The control group didn't get any training. The Minnesota job satisfaction questionnaire was administered three times before, right after and two months after the training. The results of MANCOVA showed that, retraining attributional styles increased job satisfaction significantly.
