Comparing the Effectiveness of Mutual Behavior Analysis and Psychodrama Therapy on Shyness and Social Phobia of Shiraz Women

Abstract:

The aim of the present study was the effectiveness of mutual behavior analysis and psychodrama treatment in improving the symptoms of shyness and social phobia in Shiraz women. The materials of the current research method were semi-experimental with a pre-test, post-test and follow-up phase design with a control group, the number of the statistical population was forty-five people. The present study was divided into three groups of fifteen people. The first group was subjected to the effectiveness of mutual analysis therapy, the second group was subjected to the effectiveness of psychodrama therapy, and the third group was the witness group in the waiting line. In the pretreatment stage and in the last session (after two months, during eight sessions), the clients completed the auditory shyness test and the social anxiety test. The results showed that both therapeutic methods of opposite behavior analysis and psychodrama are effective in improving the symptoms of shyness and social phobia, and the comparison of clients' scores indicates that mutual behavior analysis creates more significant and stable changes, and mutual behavior analysis according to It has a better treatment process than psychodrama, which has a better and more stable effect on shyness and social phobia.
