Abstract:

Iran is one of the countries where different ethnic groups live with different cultures. According to statistics, about ۴۲% of Iranian people, based on their ethnicity, speak Turkish, Kurdish, Balochi, and other languages. Due to their unfamiliarity and lack of cognitive ability in the official language like their other counterparts in the world, the regions have faced many difficulties in education. Considering how to educate ethnic children as necessary, they have dealt constructively with this phenomenon through the use of a bilingual education system, and have found that paying attention to the native and mother tongue of bilingual children and using it in the education process in the early years of schooling is not It not only causes better learning of the second language and education, but also increases the self-esteem and academic performance of ethnic students by respecting their culture. Therefore, the current study is a review and library method, with the aim of helping to improve the educational situation of Iranian ethnic groups, which includes almost half of Iran's student population, and to reduce educational inequalities, to investigate the difficulties of children of other Iranian ethnic groups (bilingual) and to explain the role of the mother tongue In improving the educational situation and the learning process of bilingual children, he should provide the necessary solutions according to the experience of multilingual countries in education.
