Synthesis of NiCuZn ferrite powders by sol-gel auto-combustion method abstract
In this study a copper substituted nickel–zinc ferrite nano particles with compositionNi0.5 Cu 0.1 Zn0.4 Fe2O4 were prepared by sol-gel combustion method. The effect of Cusubstitution on phase formation and crystal structure of sample were investigated by X-Raydiffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM). Also the saturationmagnetization of samples was studied by vibration sample magnetometer (VSM). The sinteredferrite was characterized for saturation magnetization. The powder is suitable for theapplication in multilayer chip inductor due to its low temperature sinterability, good magneticproperties
