The Effect Of Zr+4 and Mn+2 Substited on the Structrual and magneticproperties of SrFe12O19 abstract

In this study nano particles of SrFe12-x(Mn,Zr)x/2O19 (x=0,2,3) have been synthesized by sol-gelauto combustion process. The effect of the substituted Zr+4 and Mn+2 on structure and magneticproperties of SrFe12-x(Mn,Zr)x/2O19 have been investigated. The samples were characterized byvarious experimental techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier TransformInfrared Spectrometry (FTIR), Transmission electron microscope (TEM), Field emission gunscanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Theresults showed that M-type strontium hexaferrite phase for all samples have been formed. Thepresence of Zr-Mn substitution in the structure, decreased the coercivity (HC) from 5593.60 Oeto 3282.46 Oe and maximum magnetization (Mmax) from 62.60 emu/g to 46.15 emu/g,respectively. The mechanism of formation and variation in magnetic properties of the nanopowders had been explained
