Abstract:
In this study nano particles of SrFe۱۲-x(Mn,Zr)x/۲O۱۹ (x=۰,۲,۳) have been synthesized by sol-gelauto combustion process. The effect of the substituted Zr+۴ and Mn+۲ on structure and magneticproperties of SrFe۱۲-x(Mn,Zr)x/۲O۱۹ have been investigated. The samples were characterized byvarious experimental techniques including X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier TransformInfrared Spectrometry (FTIR), Transmission electron microscope (TEM), Field emission gunscanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). Theresults showed that M-type strontium hexaferrite phase for all samples have been formed. Thepresence of Zr-Mn substitution in the structure, decreased the coercivity (HC) from ۵۵۹۳.۶۰ Oeto ۳۲۸۲.۴۶ Oe and maximum magnetization (Mmax) from ۶۲.۶۰ emu/g to ۴۶.۱۵ emu/g,respectively.
