Applying Interaction Design for Promoting Healthcare in Primary Schools in Iran abstract
Necessity of healthcare education in early life is obvious to everyone. Developed societies have considered varied aspects of this issue and planed for running practical programs in this field. However, in developing societies deficiencies are still visible. The object of this research is to apply design thinking to improve the situation. Design process by three Design thinking specialists was considered as platform. Inspired by these three methods, research began with field studies, including observations and interviews, at one of the primary schools near the researchers' residence in Tehran. These studies lead project to designing an interactive machine as a tool for giving information about the issue to children. Finally, the system including machine, character and interaction scenario was tested by children and teachers and feedbacks were gathered. These outcomes provide a rich source of ideas for next projects and researches. This Study used Descriptive research method for data collection. Data were analyzed using a deductive approach.
