A new perspective on the fuzzy Spearman correlation coefficient abstract
The Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient is a non-parametric test that examines the strength and direction of the association between two variables that are assessed on an ordinal or continuous scale. This test is used to determine whether or not there is a correlation between the two variables. If the data distribution is not normal and the connection is not linear, or if ordinal variables are used and Pearson's Correlation cannot be used, then applying Spearman's rank correlation will be a helpful test. This test can also be beneficial when ordinal variables are used and Pearson's Correlation cannot be used. In addition to this, we provide a numerical example to demonstrate how realistic our suggested formula is.
