Death Rate (per million) of Confirmed Patients Infected by COVID-19 in the Pandemic Period: A Continental Comparison abstract

In this manuscript, a panel data analysis on the dataset of COVID-19 death rate and its possible associated covariates has been carried out. The covariates consist of eight variables including time varying as well as fixed variables over time. The panel dataset is corresponding with the data of six countries: USA, Brazil, Indonesia, Australia, Russia and South Africa as the representatives of six countries. Three regression models have been conducted and the fixed effect regression as the most justifying and fitting model has been selected. The results based on the selected model have been further analyzed and the discovered relations have been interpreted and evaluated. The results have mainly supported and reconfirmed the previous finding in similar studies in individual countries.
