Investigating the money laundering law in Iran and the reforms made to reduce this crime

In the current era, money laundering has emerged as a criminal phenomenon at the national and international level, and various countries and international organizations have risen to fight against it. In many cases, such as not paying attention to the definition of organization and transnationality of money laundering crime, lack of direct responsibility of the judiciary in judicial procedures related to the detection of crime and prosecution of criminals and the transfer of responsibility to the executive branch, lack of proportionality of the crime with the punishment, lack of assignment regarding the initiation The Anti-Money Laundering Law and its Executive Regulations can be challenged for crimes, lack of criminal liability of legal entities, criminalization of violation of regulations.
