Abstract:
Today, the use of absorption refrigeration systems has attracted the attention of scientists due to theirlow energy consumption and greater compatibility with the environment. Also, unlike condensationrefrigeration systems, which require axial work, absorption refrigeration systems receive the energythey need in the form of heat energy. Also, these systems can use low-temperature energy sourcessuch as solar energy and geothermal energy. Therefore, in this study, a solar triple-effect absorptionrefrigeration system is investigated from an energy and exergy analysis point of view. EES software isapplied to simulate the studied system. The effects of different parameters is studied in this system tofind their effects on the performance of the system. According to the results, it was observed that withthe increase of the generator temperature, the COP of the cycle also increases. At the same time, theexergetic efficiency of the system decreased due to the irreversibility of the generator temperature.
