Aims: Many healthcare organizations are adopting new forms of work organization that provide their employees with greater flexibility and independence. This is especially important in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to examine how healthcare professionals' perception of working from home affects their performance. Method: This research study is designed to provide a descriptive and analytical understanding with practical applications. The study's statistical population consists of employees from the three distinct medical training centers within Hamedan University of Medical Sciences, with 140 individuals selected through systematic random sampling. An online questionnaire was distributed as the data collection tool between December 2021 and June 2022. SPSS and Smart PLS software were utilized to conduct data analysis. Results: Most of the study participants were women aged between 31 to 40 years who possessed a bachelor's degree. The results of the mean test showed that the Individual performance (mean=3.25) and organizational performance (mean=3.51) of the employees is higher than the average and is at a favorable level. As per the t-statistic, the average perception of WFH was below 3 (mean=1.68), suggesting that WFH is not widely adopted. The study found that the perception of WFH had a significant effect on individual performance (t = 9.623 > 1.96) and organizational performance (t = 6.368 > 1.96). Specifically, the perception of WFH predicted 42.2% of the changes in job performance and 26.7% of the changes in organizational performance.
