Abstract:
The present study aimed to identify the factors related to ideal English language teaching (ELT) in schools. Therefore, this correlational-applied study chose all primary school teachers in Ahvaz City as the statistical population. Morgan’s formula was employed to select ۳۷۵ teachers as the participants of the study and a researcher-made questionnaire, with ۴۶ items on a ۵-point scale, was used to collect data. The validity of the questionnaire was approved by expert professors, and its reliability was estimated and confirmed by Cronbach’s alpha (α = ۰.۸۰). In addition, SPSS ۲۳ was used for all data processing operations. The study results indicated that the factors related to teaching can affect English teaching and learning in schools.
